Welcome to Summer @ Higher Ground 2026—a series of inspiring programmes for children, young people and young adults throughout the summer holidays.
This summer, Higher Ground becomes a space for creativity, learning and future-focused development. Across a range of programmes, participants can explore new skills, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences in a safe and welcoming environment.
Delivered in collaboration with talented local artists, facilitators and community partners, each programme offers something unique while sharing one goal: helping people create, connect and thrive.
All sessions are standalone experiences, giving you the flexibility to book one workshop, several workshops or full programmes.

🎨 Creative Kids Corner
Tuesdays | Ages 5–11 | 11:00am – 13:00pm
Hands-on creative workshops including art, theatre, pottery and mosaic making.

🚆 STEM Club
Tuesdays | Ages (11-16) | 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Interactive STEM-focused workshops delivered by Muslims in Rail, introducing children to engineering, transport systems and real-world problem solving through hands-on activities and learning.

💪 Ready Up Bro
Wednesdays | Ages 10–14 | 11:00am – 1:00pm
A confidence-building programme focused on communication, leadership, teamwork and personal growth through interactive group activities.

🚀 The WorkReady Bootcamp
Wednesdays | Ages 16–21 | 2:00pm – 3:30pm
A four-week employability program bought to you by Nxt Gen Pathways. Designed to help young people build confidence, develop workplace skills and prepare for employment, further education or training.

🌸 Girls Night In
