🎨 Creative Kids Corner: Summer Edition
Create. Imagine. Explore.
Creative Kids Corner: Summer Edition is a fun and engaging programme for children aged 5–11, offering a series of hands-on creative workshops throughout the summer holidays.
This summer, we’re proud to be working with talented local artists and creative practitioners to give children the opportunity to explore new art forms, learn new skills and enjoy making something they can be proud of in a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment.
Each workshop is a standalone experience, giving families the flexibility to book one workshop, a few favourites or the complete Summer Edition series—whatever best suits their summer plans.
Every workshop is delivered in two one-hour sessions, allowing families to choose the session time that works best for them.

☕ Design Your Own Mug Workshop
Tuesday 28th July 2026
Children will design and decorate their own ceramic mug using a range of colours and creative techniques, creating a unique keepsake to take home and enjoy.

🏺 Pottery Workshop
Tuesday 4 August 2026
Get hands-on with clay as children create and decorate their own unique pottery piece. Once complete, every creation will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired by the Lugus Ceramics team, ready to be collected and treasured.

🎭 Interactive Theatre Workshop
Tuesday 11 August 2026
A fun and engaging theatre workshop that encourages imagination, storytelling and creative expression through interactive drama and performance.

🧩 Mosaic Art Workshop
Tuesday 18 August 2026
Children will design and create their own colourful mosaic while learning about pattern, shape and composition through this enjoyable hands-on workshop.

Creative Kids Corner: Summer Edition brings together talented local artists and creative organisations who share their skills, experience and passion with the next generation. Together, we’re creating memorable experiences that inspire creativity, build confidence and encourage children to explore their imagination.

Dates: Tuesdays – 28 July, 4 August, 11 August and 18 August 2026
Session Times
Session 1: 11:00am – 11:45am
Session 2: 12:00pm – 12:45pm
Families may book either session, subject to availability.
Location: Higher Ground
Advance booking is essential. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
