As the new academic year begins, Higher Ground is thrilled to introduce the Luton Home Ed Hub Monthly Meet-Up — a relaxed and welcoming gathering designed to bring families together to connect, share, and support each other along their home education journeys.

Whether you’re just starting out or have been home educating for years, this is your opportunity to meet like-minded families, build community, and find encouragement in a friendly environment where everyone’s experience matters.

What to Expect

Each month, we’ll explore a thoughtfully chosen theme related to home education — whether that’s sharing practical tips, exploring new ideas, or talking through common challenges. From routines and resources to wellbeing and motivation, every session offers something valuable.

We’ll also invite guest speakers occasionally, bringing fresh perspectives and expert insight to enrich our conversations.

Most importantly, this is a space to socialise, swap stories, and build genuine connections with families who understand the joys and realities of home education.

Who Is It For?

This meet-up is open to all home-educating families, whatever your style or experience level. Whether you’re just thinking about home education or you’ve been on the journey for years, you’re welcome here.

Children and young people of all ages are encouraged to attend, with an emphasis on socialising and connection over formal activities. This is a chance for everyone to meet new people, feel supported, and be part of a community.

We’ll have tea, coffee, and light refreshments available to help keep the conversation flowing in a relaxed atmosphere.
